Cheap ARM boards, compared

Recently, I've been looking for a small ARM development board for a project. There are many of them, but information is scattered and it's hard to compare and find the board that best suits the project. Even though board lists already exist (for example here and here), I found none of them to be systematic enough to be really useful.
So I've set up a list of my own. It's in tabular form, making it easy to compare board characteristics.

In order to stay focused, there are several prerequisites for entering the list:
  • Based on an ARM processor (but not the "microcontroller" Cortex-Mx flavor)
  • Costs 200$ or less (advertised price for minimal configuration, excluding shipping and taxes)
  • Capable of running Linux
  • Available for purchase in a single unit quantity
  • Ready for use - no SOMs that require a motherboard or fancy connectors to be useful
It's not complete of course, but I'll try to keep it up-to-date and add more relevant entries.

  1. You could add the Parallella. a $99 dual core A9, with an epiphany corprocessor. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/adapteva/parallella-a-supercomputer-for-everyone

  2. This is only a kickstarter idea, far away from being available for purchase.
